Awful:

Going to the dermatologist and still getting no answers about her possible hemangioma. We still have to play the waiting game, in 8 weeks when we go back if it has grown they will need to take tests on it and see what it is exactly. *Please don't grow any bigger!

Baby blow outs at the mall..
Having a pity party for myself due to pizza face and after pregnancy body. Why can't I be one of the small percentage that bounce back. I saw 2 girls at a friends baby shower that had a baby 2 months ago and 2 weeks ago. They sure don't look it!

Hearing from a friend who lost her baby girl a little more half way through her pregnancy. I kicked myself for feeling so bad about myself before. I'll never complain about my post pregnant body again.

Getting peed on just before bath time and looking at her face smiling as though she's thinking ''Haha I'm so funny, and so cute so you can't get mad in the least bit.'' It's true I can't help but laugh when she spits up on me, pees or anything.  (For now)

My last weekend being a stay at home mom. Too bad we aren't like Canada and have maternity leave last a year and it's paid!

Nothing better than driving behind a senior... The yellow light means slow down not slam on your breaks. And yes those are orange traffic cones 2 feet in front of you so you might want to get out of the way a little sooner so you don't hit them.

I love that my cute husband text me Monday while he was at work if I would go on a date with him. So last night I got all dressed up and went to dinner and a movie with him. Naturally we mostly talked about

Mary, being parents and wondering how she was doing at my parents. We were so excited to to see our 

little munchkin after our evening ended. 

I love these mugs! We take them every time we go to the movies

*MJ reverting to being a newborn during this growth spurt and eating every two hours on the dot. Make for a very sleepy mommy.
*Finding out it can take 6-9 months for pregnancy hormones to fully get out of my body. Hence the pizza face.
*Making a mental list of things needing to get done this week and not much was done
* Still learning I can't hold ''it'' for very long like I used to pre baby. You mama's know what I'm talking about. I have mastered the potty dance.

*Mary being blessed on Sunday, Ryan did a beautiful job.
* This should probably be in the 'Awful' category but I laughed so hard it's awesome. MJ peed all over Ryan just before he put her in the tub. It's about time she gave him a taste of parenthood that I have experience all too well :D
*Receiving a text from my sweet husband asking if I would go on a date with him
*Having a totally free date night! Gift cards to Chili's and the movie theater? yes please! Sherlock Holmes was awesome btw

Mary's blessing day

Mary's blessing day was today, Ryan did a beautiful job and I'm so happy that Mary was such a good baby. She woke up in the middle of it apparently but didn't make a peep. 

She wore the blessing dress and bonnet that I was blessed in, she sure is a cutie!

MJ's 2 months

Today MJ is 2 months! We had her check up today and she is 10 pounds and 22 inches long, she sure is growing like a weed! she needs to slow down geez. One of her newborn pajamas are too small for her :(

Poor girl got her shots today and oh my gosh did she ever break my heart with those piercing cries of hers, I'm not gonna lie, I cried a little with her.

When she was about 4-5 weeks old my mom and I noticed a mark on her back that felt hard underneath her skin. I showed the doctor when I had my 6 week post check up and he said it looked like some fatty tissue to not worry about it. Well it's grown since than and showed her doctor today. She thinks it's a hemangioma. So we'll find out in a couple of weeks when we see a dermatologist. I look forward to the day when there is nothing wrong with this little girl. I'm grateful she hasn't had any severe problems but it's still hard to see your little one have issues whether it be jaundice and dehydration or this.

Going to Mary's 2 month appointment and trying to console her while she screams after the mean man gives her 3 shots.

Getting cut off by a crazy driver driving going well over the speed limit, I wanted to yell over to him "Don't you see I have a baby in the back seat of my car?! be more careful!"

I am in major need of a manicure, how do moms have time to have cute nails?

I'm not one of the lucky moms who drop all of the baby weight right after having a baby and is nursing. It's going to take some work and time to tighten up this tummy.

Stressing out about seeing Mary's doctor to see what the bump on her back is.

I'm still too scared to try on my pre prego jeans

I don't know if it's the hormones after having a baby or what but my skin has got a mind of it's on and I have major pizza face. What happened?!

MJ's smiles, I love when she wakes up in the morning and stops crying when she see's me. She knows who her mama is! She coo's and smiles all the time now I love it.

Finding out the bump on her back is most likely a hemangioma, but we're getting a 2nd opinion from a dermatologist on Feb 2nd. Could always be worse and I'm glad it's not.

Looking forward to Sunday! Ryan is blessing our sweet angel at church.

After 3 months I finally colored my hair yesterday, I no longer am homely looking.

Going for a walk outside with MJ in our neighborhood for the first time and getting lost. What started as planning a 20-30 minute walk ended up lasting for an hour. Got some good exercise that day!

Baby swings and binkies are uh-may-zing. What would I do with out them...

My mother in law bought us a TON of diapers! All sorts of different brands so we can see which kind we like best. So far out of the 3 we've used Huggies and Walmarts brand are a win.

If mothers received stars and badges I would like to think I have finally earned one or two. You know you have certainly joined the mom club when you have officially been peed, pooped and up chucked on. I remember thinking it was the grossest thing ever growing up having a nephew or niece spit up on me but when it's my own child I just can't help but laugh. Like last Sunday, I fed MJ and got her all dressed and as soon as I put her over my should *buuuurrrrrrrrrrp along with a shot of spit up all over my shoulder and in my hair. Needless to say we were late to church.
And you gotta love when you are just about to put the babe in to the bath and while checking the water temp she pees all over my leg, even better..I was wearing Ryan's pj pants. Also, I neve knew till now that baby poop can shoot out like a water gun..
I never get bored being a mom, and it's going to be really hard come in a few short weeks when I go back to work. Here's a picture overload of this sweetie pie :)

Oh how I remember being so tired during pregnancy, she's due in June

2011 has been an amazing year, obviously the high light of the year is having MJ in our family, I couldn't ask for a better baby, we love this little girl so much!
New Years resolutions this year:
*Manage time better- I'm finally starting to get a schedule with Mary, I didn't know how much work babies really are!
*Work out and get rid of the pregnancy weight I gained
*Go to the Temple with Ryan more often, even go by myself
*Finish reading The Book of Mormon, we are getting close!
*Cook more often, and eat more healthy meals
*Improve organizing skills or lack there of

And I'm sure there are many more I could think of but those are the biggest on my list

Zoo Lights

We had such a fun time going to see the lights at the zoo, the weather was 

absolutely perfect, in the high 50's (that's great considering it's 

usually 20 degrees this time of year..)

Christmas week

Our 'Christmas trees' since I wasn't able to find my actual one at my
 parents house,  so my modpodged wooden trees had to do.

 Ryan's sister Erika was in town for a few days and was able to meet Mary, it was fun to have her, Rachel and their dad over to visit. This little girl is very loved!

     Christmas day! We spent the night at my parents and went to church with them. Here's Mary
wearing my dress that I wore for my first Christmas. She is so stinking cute, and yes those are tights not pants she is wearing..we're trying to get some more chub on this petite little thing haha
