She is so fun and we love watching her grow and learn.
At her dermatology appointment they weighed her and she is now 14 pounds
She knows her name and especially her mom and dad's voice.
Ryan made me cut the cord and she spend her first night in her room last night.. it was a success though! I kept looking at the monitor watching her making sure she was breathing and ok...yeah I know, a bit paranoid?
Fun Facts:
She is sitting up now! Only for a minute till she falls over unless she has her boppy around her to help support.
Still wearing 3-6 month clothing. I just packed more 3 month pants now that they are too short for her
and still in size 1 diapers
Can hold her bottle by herself
Loves:
Sleeping on her side, her wubbanub and can now put it back in her mouth after it's fallen down,
loves cuddling, bath time, being around people. She has found her toes and is always grabbing and playing with them
She loves listening to her voice, Ryan caught her on camera while I was at work as she was yelling and shouting happily for a good 10 minutes.
Hates:
Getting dressed, having a dirty diaper, being left a lone some times.
She's so cute. :) Don't feel bad about just barely putting her in her own room to sleep - it takes time to get used to the idea. Rue is still in my room (in her own crib), and I still get up and check on her. And just a tip on the diaper sizes: if you find that her diapers seem to be leaking a lot and you're changing her clothes at almost every diaper change, it's time to move up a size in diapers. That's something I didn't figure out with Fitz until he was like 6 months old.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get her leg warmers?? They look so long! I only have one pair for Rue and she's so tall they don't cover her up as well any more!
Brittani actually made them! They're adult size knee socks with the foot part cut off than hemed. :D
DeleteAwesome. I looked up "how to make baby leg warmers out of socks" last night, bought some knee highs today, and made Rue some leg warmers. Thanks for the idea!
