Cutting hair on a client who just worked out at the gym..and doesn't need his hair washed because he'll just shower when he gets home...dude! shower before you make me touch your nasty sweaty head!
Shin splints after the first day going for a run outside
Utah weather is such a tease some times. It freaking snowed today at our place!
Living in the basement = finding spiders for ryan to kill
Coming home from work and than realizing i've worn my shirt inside out all day..
Awesome:
Finding wedding gift cards while doing some spring cleaning. heck yes!
Getting the back of my hair done finally after 6 months.
Finding out Bed Bath and Beyond will take expired coupons again oohhh yeah buddy
Having a true blue friend through the good and bad times that I've known for 20 years
Going to a friends baby shower! It was so fun looking for boy things
We are so lucky to have MJ, she loves her crib and just about sleeps through the day every day

Going Private
After much thought I've decided to go private. Yes, I became one of those people after having a baby to decide to go private. So come the first of next month this blog will no longer be open to the public.

5 Months already?
Holy moly where is the time going? My baby girl is already 5 months old today.
She is so fun and we love watching her grow and learn.
At her dermatology appointment they weighed her and she is now 14 pounds
She knows her name and especially her mom and dad's voice.
Ryan made me cut the cord and she spend her first night in her room last night.. it was a success though! I kept looking at the monitor watching her making sure she was breathing and ok...yeah I know, a bit paranoid?
Fun Facts:
She is sitting up now! Only for a minute till she falls over unless she has her boppy around her to help support.
Still wearing 3-6 month clothing. I just packed more 3 month pants now that they are too short for her
and still in size 1 diapers
Can hold her bottle by herself
Loves:
Sleeping on her side, her wubbanub and can now put it back in her mouth after it's fallen down,
loves cuddling, bath time, being around people. She has found her toes and is always grabbing and playing with them
She loves listening to her voice, Ryan caught her on camera while I was at work as she was yelling and shouting happily for a good 10 minutes.
Hates:
Getting dressed, having a dirty diaper, being left a lone some times.

Getting 'the letter' saying our social security numbers were some of the thousands stolen from hackers in Europe. juuuust great

Awful/ Awesome
Awful:
-Forgetting that I rolled down the windows just a bit on my car. So after a rainstorm I drove home from work sitting on a soggy wet seat.
-Completely forgetting about a work seminar till looking at the phone and seeing the reminder..10 minutes to get there what normally take 20? grrr
-Swallowing a fish bone. sick i know.
Awesome:
-Going for a walk at the park, mama and baby girl day out.
-MJ finding her toes and now is always playing with them
-Chick flick night watching A Walk to Remember. Love Mandy Moore
-First time cooking fish my father law caught=success!
-MJ's good news with her hemangioma

Happy Easter!

Awful/Awesome
Awful:
Not looking forward to Monday, bitter sweet to have MJ's possible hemangioma tested since it has grown
This weather is a joke! One day it's gorgeous out, nice and sunny....the next as in today, it's snowing!
Picking up medication at the pharmacy to find out it was all messed up and they wanted to charge me $90 for something that cost me $15 last time...yeah freaking right. I most certainly did not pay for it.
Going for a walk on a beautiful afternoon...than seeing pink on my bald headed girl the next day. Time to buy some baby spf!

Awful/Awesome
Awful:
In mid shower of finishing shaving one leg, MJ wakes up from nap
Come Sunday, forgetting about being half a chewbacca till arriving at church and looking down at my bare legs.
MJ's 4 month old shots, those cries just kill me
Watching a kid in the waiting room pick his nose and wipe it on his mom. I'm going to be that mom one day aren't I...*cringe
Awesome:
Back massages after a long day at work are heavenly
Forgetting about house work for the day and spending it cuddling with my sweet girl
Giving in and reading the Hunger Games. Yup I loved it! On to book number 2
Checking out Utah's new awesome mall City Creek. Looking forward to going again.

4 months old!
Mary is 4 months old!
Weight: 13 pounds (25th percentile)
Height: 24 inches (30th percentile)
She is exploring her surroundings more and more, she loves to sit up rather than laying down on her back. She'll arch it and get upset after a minute. She has learned to roll over! We have heard her giggle only twice, I'm sure it's quite comical to watch Ryan and I act like clowns doing anything we can to get her to smile and get really close to giggling.
She has moved on up to sitting in her stroller rather than being in her car seat. We took her for a walk at the park and she loved it! She has found her hands so if her binky isn't in her mouth it's her fingers, sometime all of them at once till she realizes that wasn't a good idea and gags herself..
She is doing great sleeping at night now that she has her wubbanub, she'll wake up usually just once to eat. She loves to do the itsy bitsy spider, patty cake, and dance. She loves to be around people and will smile for anyone.
Fun Facts:
Must haves: wubbanub, an extra outfit in case of blow outs, blue elephant to play with the rings and toys that hang from it.
Wears: 3-6 months clothes (barely she is still a petite little thing) size 1 diapers
Loves: attention, bath time, cuddling with mom and dad, sitting up, music, tv (but we dont let her watch it, she sure tries though!) rides in her stroller, playing with toys that make sound and have lights.
Hates: her carseat, laying down, getting in and out of clothes, when we take her fingers out of her mouth, having a dirty diaper on longer than a few seconds
I sure hope all of our future babies are just like her, she is such a good baby! I love our little family it's amazing how much life changes when a baby arrives and for the better. She is just such a joy and we can't imagine life with out her.
