Family Pictures

We haven't had a family picture (not counting weddings) for about 6 or 7 years..

With 22 people, 12 being grand children and 3 under the age of 3 and
a baby who was still getting over being sick

they didn't turn out so bad! 

9 months

MJ is 9 months!

This girl is just the sweetest thing and can make any rough day amazing by just her little smile.
She is 17 pounds (moved on up to the 30th percentil) and 28 inches long.

She is crawling every where, pulling herself up and beginning to 'couch surf' a bit. Before I know it she will be running all over the place!

 Fun Facts: She says 'Da-da' but not knowing the meaning, she is done with the pureeing and eating whatever we eat! She has a top tooth starting to break in. She is an amazing eater and will eat anything but wont drink prune juice little stinker. So I have to sneak it in when I make her green drinks.

Loves: being around people; I haven't seen any stranger danger with her so she might be like her mama and be a little social butterfly and talk to anyone. Loves bath time, being a big girl and eating using her hands, her wubbanubs are her bff's, and loves being outside exploring and going on walks.

Hates: Getting dressed still... you'd think after 9 months she'd be used to it and give in haha. Prune juice, being told no; she almost always cries when being told no to.

Next month she'll be 10 months and that much closer to being ONE...Time needs to slow down! She is such a sweet girl and we are so grateful and blessed to be her parents.

Summer fun

 First time camping! She was such a trooper and we had a blast. So grateful we were over our week and a half sickness just in time to go. Nothing is worse than being sick
and having a sick baby!

Little miss has two teeth! and they sure are sharp little things

8 months

Mary is 8 months now and she just gets more and more fun as she is growing and learning.
She is officially crawling and loves to pull herself up on anything.
Another first for her she has gotten sick :( We're on day 6 of this nasty bug which I've had with her and now Ryan has joined in on the misery. Nothing worse than being sick yourself and having a sick baby! I'm definitely learning the saying moms give that moms don't get days off. I went to work on Sunday with a temperature over 100 and came home to take care of her. It's amazing what our bodies can do when we just have to push through things and do what needs to be done. Hopefully she (a long with Ryan and I) are all better by the weekend especially since my sister and brother in law with their two kids will be in town and getting family pictures taken.

Foods she has tried
blueberries, greek yogurt, zucchini, pineapple, apricots, rice, chow mein noodles, and all were yummy to her!

Fun facts: She is using her voice lots, will put her arms up now when she wants to be picked up, will lean towards us if we put our hands out to her. She is so fun to take pictures of she definitely knows what a camera is.  She understands ''no-no'' and some times starts crying when I say it to her.

Loves: eating whatever we're eating and is like a little birdie opening her mouth for a little piece. Loves to throw things and hear it fall on the ground and make us pick it up for her..over and over again.
Watches tv..when she can sneak a peak!

Hates: getting her nose wiped (what kid doesn't though)

and no picture updates since they are all on my phone..I have slacked on using my actual camera. And shocker...my phone is dead! ;)

Summer Fun

Play date with Kaylee. MJ's first time in the kiddie pool and loved it!

I babysat my nephews and nieces for a couple of days. We sure had some fun!

Fathers Day

There's nothing better than seeing the man you love, who long ago was my first love, the boy who sang me a love song, was my first kiss, who may have been the reason for many nights coming home past curfew, the boy I said farewell to I'll see you in two years at the mission training center, who danced with me and looked at me with such loving eyes on the our wedding day, the father of our baby. I'll love him always for being the amazing husband he is and for giving me such a precious beautiful baby girl who has us both wrapped around her chubby little finger and can make our day with just a smile. I'm so grateful for these two loves.

say what?! 7 months..

Where on earth does the time go... Baby girl is now SEVEN months old  Can I just say HOLY COW!

It has been a bit of a rough month..Where once I could brag how easy she was to put down to sleep has come back to nip me in the butt. No longer able to fall asleep in my arms at church = leaving to drive around till she falls asleep, giving in and laying her in our bed till she drifts off than walk ever so quietly and slowly to her room and hold my breath as I lay her in her crib praying she doesn't wake up. Wanting to shed some tears trying the Ferber Method and lasting only 5 minutes till I can't handle the screaming anymore. Got the picture? I know woe is me.. 

Other than her change of bed time she is still such a happy going baby. She is beginning to venture out and slowly getting to her knees wanting to get to outreached  toys. Soon it'll be time to baby proof our place, yikes!
She enjoys sucking her thumb through the pacifier hole..smarty pants. Loves being around other people, playing with bubbles and went swimming for the first time which wasn't as successful as I thought but the pool wasn't very warm so who can blame her. 

She loves Ritz crackers and will only eat sweet potatoes with them, still has to have her wubbanub at all times, she is already little miss photogenic; you hold a camera up and say cheese and she certainly grins from eat to ear. Is a big girl and sits in the grocery cart, if given a toy and a non toy object of course she goes for the non toy.. She loves playing with my hair and face when I'm laying next to her haha so cute.

Hates: still is such a girl and hates sitting in her dirty diaper for very long, cries when you leave her alone in a room even if she can still hear your voice! Not a fan of laying in the grass on her back she doesn't cry just has a funny expression on her face.
